The Bliss Kiss™ Origin
It All Started with Chipping Nail Polish and an Almond Allergy
The idea for Simply Pure™ started when I was frustrated by my manicure chipping in the shower. I really believed that there had to be a way to get all the hard work I put into painting my nails to last more than a day or two!
I also have an allergy to almonds. Unfortunately, most cuticle oils at the time used almond oil as their primary ingredient. So I decided to experiment on my own.
I worked with my mom, Ms. Chemist, to develop the formula for Simply Pure™. We ended up with eight edible ingredients mixed together in a little nail pen.
The results shocked me. My manicures were lasting longer. My nails weren’t peeling and snapping like they used to. My cuticles looked healthy instead of shredded.
I shared the oil with a few friends. They had the same “wait… what is this stuff?” results. So we decided to sell it.
We launched our first website in June 2012 from our 200-square-foot kitchen. Today, Bliss Kiss™ is still a small, family-run business, sending high-quality, nail-science-backed products to nail fanatics all over the world.

What's In Simply Pure™
Simply Pure™ is a proprietary blend of 8 wholesome ingredients:
Jojoba Wax Ester*

Why Jojoba Matters:
According to nail scientist Doug Schoon (Nail Structure and Product Chemistry, p. 37):
"Oils will also be absorbed into the nail plate to plasticize it, but more slowly than water. Just as oils are absorbed more slowly into the nail plate, it is also more difficult for the oils to escape. Therefore, oils stay in the plate for a very long time and can exert a dramatic long-term influence on the durability of the natural nail plate."
Jojoba is actually a wax ester (not technically an oil), with a molecular structure almost identical to sebum. This allows it to penetrate the nail plate where other oils cannot.

HOW TO USE: BASIC DAILY APPLICATION
Application Steps (All Formats):

Apply a small amount to each nail
- Twist Pens: 1-2 clicks per nail
- Dropper: 1 drop covers all 10 fingers
- Squeeze Pens: Small squeeze per nail
- 4 oz Bottle: Pour small amount into palm, dip fingers

Brush or massage oil onto:
- Entire nail plate
- Cuticle line (proximal nail fold)
- Sidewalls (sides of nail)
- Under free edge (nail tip)

Rub into skin using your fingers
- Massage up to the first knuckle
- Oil should feel slightly slippery at first
- By the time you finish all nails, oil should be absorbed
- No greasy residue should remain on fingertips
- If still greasy, rub excess into backs of hands like lotion
- Massage the matrix (area right behind cuticle line) to increase blood flow where your nail is created
Frequency:
- Minimum: Morning and before bed
- Recommended: After every hand washing
- Best results: 4-10 times daily
- Initial treatment: Apply every hour for first 3 days (see 3-Day Treatment below)
Can I Use Simply Pure™ Over Polish/Gel/Acrylic?
YES! Apply oil regularly whether you have polish on or naked nails.
Here's what Simply Pure™ does for your manicure:
- Keeps polish, gel, and acrylic more flexible

Important: Simply Pure™ does not penetrate through gel, acrylic, or lacquer to reach your natural nail underneath. However, jojoba penetrates into the edges of your nails not covered by polish, and keeps the coating products more flexible by reducing dehydration.

What they are: Pre-filled, twist-bottom dispenser with brush applicator. No mess, ultra-portable, TSA-friendly.
How To Start Your Pen:
- Hold pen with brush pointing UP
- Twist bottom COUNTER-CLOCKWISE
- Keep twisting until oil appears in bristles (may take 10-15 twists on first use)
- Brush oil onto nails following Basic Application steps

- One pen lasts: 2-8 weeks depending on frequency (after initial 3-day treatment)

How To Fill Your Squeeze Pen:
You'll need:
- Empty Squeeze Pen
- Simply Pure™ Dropper or 4 oz Bottle
- Refill Buddy Tool (included)
- Paper towel
- Isopropyl alcohol (for cleanup)
- Well-lit workspace
Step-by-Step:
- Prep workspace - Lay down paper towels, gather supplies
- Lightly oil the dispenser valve - Put small drop on finger, rub onto valve

Fill the barrel
- Remove dispenser valve from pen
- Using dropper or pouring from 4 oz bottle, fill barrel to about 7 ml
- Don't overfill! Leave room at top to prevent spills

Insert dispenser valve
- Hold filled barrel firmly
- Gently but firmly insert oiled valve
- Should snap into place
- Wiggle gently to ensure secure fit

Cleanup & test
- Wipe exterior with isopropyl alcohol
- Squeeze a small drop into your palm to test flow
- Adjust pressure to find ideal dispensing rate
- Replace screw-on lid
Refilling Tips:
- Shelf life: If you have multiple pens, underfill slightly so oil gets used within recommended timeframe
- Storage: Keep out of direct sunlight, store at room temperature or cooler

HOW TO DO A MINI HYDRATION TREATMENT
Time Commitment: 20 minutes - 2 hours
When: After removing old polish, before applying new manicure ("MINI BEFORE MANI")
Step-By-Step:
- Remove old polish
- Apply Simply Pure™ generously (same as Mega)
- Apply Simply Sealed™ Lotion Stick
- Put on nitrile gloves
- Wait 20 minutes - 2 hours (as much time as you have)
- Remove gloves, massage in remaining product
- Wipe nails with rubbing alcohol to remove surface oil
- Apply new manicure
Why This Matters:
Polish remover (especially acetone) strips oil from nails. The Mini Treatment replaces that oil BEFORE you polish, keeping nails healthy between manicures.

Following Doug Schoon's Guidance
After studying Doug Schoon's book "Nail Structure and Product Chemistry," I learned that the type of file you use matters enormously.
Traditional files have random, jagged particles that tear the nail. Glass files use precision-etched surfaces that seal the nail edge as you file.
This is why nail professionals worldwide have switched to glass.
NANO GLASS NAIL FILE
Features: Dual-grit (coarse + fine), 12.5 cm long, etched with "COARSE" and "FINE" labels
How To Use:
COARSE SIDE (For Shaping):
- Hold file at 45° angle under free edge
- Use smooth, even strokes from side to center
- Shape your desired nail:
- Square: File straight across
- Squoval: File straight across, then round corners
- Round: File from sides in curved motion
- Oval: File from sides to center point
FINE SIDE (For Sealing/Smoothing):
- After shaping, switch to fine side

Q: Can I use Simply Pure™ while pregnant/breastfeeding?
A: Yes! Ingredients are safe and natural. Some people are more sensitive to fragrances during pregnancy—try Fragrance Free if concerned.
