Bite Free™ Nail Biting Prevention | Simply Pure™ Nail & Cuticle Oil Bitter Formula
Bite Free™ Nail Biting Deterrent & Nail Oil
Break the nail biting habit. Support healthier-looking nails.
Most nail biting deterrents stop at bitter. Bite Free™ goes further.
Bite Free™ combines our Simply Pure™ jojoba-based nail oil with a bitter reminder that helps interrupt nail biting the moment your teeth touch your nail. While the bitter taste encourages you to stop, the oil moisturizes nails and cuticles, helping support healthier-looking nails as they grow.
Instead of choosing between breaking the habit or caring for your nails, you get both in one pen.
How Bite Free™ Works
Nail biting happens faster than conscious thought. Stress, boredom, concentration, and everyday routines can send your fingers to your mouth before you even realize you're doing it.
That's why "just stop" rarely works.
Bite Free™ doesn't ask you to catch the urge before it happens. The bitter taste interrupts the bite itself, helping break the automatic habit loop exactly when it happens. Over time, those repeated interruptions help build a new habit.
Why We Made It
If you've bitten your nails for years, you've probably heard it all.
"Just stop."
"It's only a bad habit."
"You must be stressed."
But if it were that simple, you would have quit already.
One of our team members, Kirsten, has struggled with nail biting and picking for most of her life.
She knows what it's like to hide her hands, avoid close-up photos, catch herself halfway through a bite, and wonder how it even started. Bite Free™ was inspired by her search for a solution that worked with the way habits actually happen—not another lecture about willpower.
Bite Free™ was created to give people like Kirsten a different approach—one that works with how habits actually happen instead of relying on willpower alone.
Who It's For
Bite Free™ is designed for anyone who wants to stop nail biting, including people who:
• Bite without realizing it
• Bite during stress, boredom, or while concentrating
• Can't leave rough edges or hangnails alone
• Feel embarrassed about the appearance of their hands
• Have tried bitter nail polish or other nail biting products without long-term success
If you also pick at the skin around your nails, pair Bite Free™ with Simply Pure™ Nail & Cuticle Oil to help keep the surrounding skin moisturized and comfortable.
How to Use
-
Shake well before every use.
-
Click the pen 1–2 times per nail.
-
Brush onto nails and surrounding skin.
-
Massage in until absorbed.
-
Reapply throughout the day, especially after washing your hands or whenever you feel the urge to bite.
If you don't notice the bitter taste during use, shake again and reapply. The bitter reminder works best when it is thoroughly mixed into the oil.

What to Expect
Every person's journey is different.
Some people notice fewer biting episodes within days, while others need more time to build a new habit. Progress comes from consistency, repetition, and celebrating small wins—not perfection.
One day you'll catch yourself looking down and realizing you haven't bitten your nails all afternoon. Those small victories add up.
Safe Use
Suitable for ages 6 and up with adult supervision.
The bitter taste is intentionally strong. Some children may have a stronger gag response than others. If the taste is too intense, discontinue use and consider Simply Pure™ Nail & Cuticle Oil while developing healthy nail care habits.
As with any personal care product, discontinue use if irritation or sensitivity develops. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of young children except under adult supervision.
What's Inside
Simply Pure™ jojoba-based nail and cuticle oil with a cosmetic bittering agent (denatonium benzoate aka Bitrex®) that provides the taste reminder to help interrupt nail biting.
